FAQs
What is your turnaround time?
Orders must be placed a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to avoid a rush fee. However, all orders are based on availability. Due to the custom nature of products, I sometimes book several months in advance. Availability is noted on the Contact Us page.
How long do cookies last?
All cookies are heat sealed in individual packaging and labeled with ingredients. Cookies are good for 1 week at room temperature in sealed packages or can be frozen for up to 6 months for peak freshness.
Do you have a storefront?
Not at this time. All products are made to order in a licensed and inspected residential kitchen in South Dennis MA. The address will be given when your order is placed.
How do I order?
Please fill out our form on the Contact Us page with as much information as possible. All inquiries are typically answered within 24 hours. If you do not get a response, check your spam or shoot us a second message at info@thecookiecaper.com. Email is the best way to communicate so we have all of your information in writing in one place.
Do you require a deposit?
Because we book quickly, full payment is due at the time of order to be placed on our calendar. Payments are non-refundable. An inquiry does not guarantee a spot on the calendar unless payment is received or you are communicated with otherwise.
What is your return policy?
Once items leave our hands, they are final and nonrefundable since they are usually custom and food products. However, if there is an issue with your order, please reach out and we will do our best to make it right!
What if I need to cancel my order?
All payments are nonrefundable but we will do our best to move your payment to another date. We would need a minimum of 3 weeks' notice for any changes to the theme or date of your order. There is no guarantee your new date will be available.
Do you make gluten free, peanut free, allergy specific cookies?
I do not. All cookies are made in a residential kitchen and while everything is cleaned and disinfected thoroughly, it is impossible to guarantee there will be no cross contamination of ingredients. All cookies and boxes are labeled with allergen information. If you have a severe allergy, we recommend going to an allergen free bakery. It is the responsibility of the client to inform guests of possible allergens. The Cookie Caper is not responsible for any allergic reactions.
